SCHLECK COMPETES IN QUIZNOS

Four-time world time-trial champion Fabian Cancellara and Luxembourg's Andy Schleck will compete in the Quiznos Pro Challenge, the race announced Tuesday.

The trio is the nucleus of Leopard Trek, a Luxembourg-based team formed last year by Andy and Frank Schleck.

If Lance Armstrong keeps to his retirement plans, Cancellara, 29, should be the biggest star in the race. The Swiss won the world time-trial championship in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2011. In addition, he has won seven stages of the Tour de France and also won the 2008 Olympic time-trial gold medal in Beijing.

Frank Schleck, 30, has won two stages of the Tour de France. His younger brother, Andy, 25, finished second in the 2010 Tour and won the Tour's best young cyclist in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

Another Leopard Trek rider of note is Australia's Stuart O'Grady. The former track cyclist won the 1999 and 2001 Tour Down Under and three stages of the Tour de France. In 2004 he won the Olympic Madison track title.
